Global West was established in 1980. The company originally fine-tuned suspension systems for production road race and formula race cars. This work included track-side evaluations and adjustments as well as major modifications to the chassis to correct suspension deficiencies. Before long, Global West was building complete race cars, conducting chassis research for other companies and developing its own product line of suspension components. Performance street applications soon followed.
Over the years, Global West has evolved into a major manufacturer of high quality suspension components supplying major automotive manufacturers, specialty aftermarket companies, and the hands on performance enthusiast. Our goal is to provide the highest quality suspension components that will solve specific suspension problems while providing performance gains. This is evident by looking at our product line and at our no-nonsense approach to solving suspension issues. Every suspension component Global West manufactures is targeted to correct a specific weak link and provide a performance advantage. Our approach is straight forward utilizing logical steps to solve existing suspension problems without creating new ones. Every Global West suspension component has been designed and tested to be compatible with the other components of the existing suspension as well as other Global West components.
With the tremendous increase in sales for American Muscle Cars and their related products, Global West invested in a new manufacturing and corporate facility in San Bernardino California in the fall of 2003. This facility houses Global West's state-of-the-art production equipment, warehouse and packing, R&D engineering, and administrative functions.
